TESTIMONIES – Brazil – September 25 – October 9, 2007
These are the testimonies of some of the team members on the Global Awakening mission trip to Brazil in September/October, 2007:
Randy Clark, Apostolic Evangelist September 28 Tonight, 9/28/07, was an awesome night to say the least. It seemed we were building upon the last couple of nights when nearly 500 and then a little over 500 people were healed of the crowd of 2,000 people. Last night I prayed for a man who was paralyzed from a tumor of the brain on his right side. He also couldn’t talk. He had no feeling in his right side. After prayer he could feel his right side, he was actually sensing pain as his side was awakening. He could walk and do squat thrusts, and he regained some of the movement in his legs. He began saying mai and pai (mom and dad). He had a problem with his equilibrium, was dizzy and couldn’t stand alone. There was also a man in the same area where I was praying who was totally blind. After we prayed he could see a few feet away my fingers and count them. He could also track the movement of my fingers left and right, up and down. The same man returned again the next night 9/29/2007, and received prayer again for more healing. He still couldn’t talk more than the night before. He still had the feeling in his right side whereas before it had no feeling. He could still walk whereas before he couldn’t walk without help. His dizziness was still healed, and he still had more movement in the arm. After prayer he felt stronger, but I would have liked to have seen total healing. I also prayed for a man who had Parkinson’s, the kind Mohammad Ali has, the mask type. This kind of Parkinson’s doesn’t cause you to shake as much, but you have an expressionless face. He said there were times when he would sit for hours not able to communicate. He could barely walk. He received healing, his slight tremor stopped, he felt strength come into his legs, walked, and I told him to smile, which he did. He said it felt like something left him. He was happy. I prayed for a woman whose mother had the measles, rubella, when she was in the womb at four months. The woman was born deaf and had never heard a sound. She had been prayed for by a woman on our team. When Terry was praying she began to hear the base drum. However, her mother said they needed to go. On the way out she stopped and asked me to pray for her. Her hearing hadn’t continued, but the healing had started. When I prayed her ears opened and remained open. She complained about people talking too loud around her, that it hurt her ears. The look on her face when her ears opened was priceless. It was a sudden miracle, a creative miracle. Tonight 9/30/2007, we had more miracles and healings. The team divided up into 7 teams going to seven churches. My small team experienced a lot of healings. But, for me, it was an extraordinary night. We had so many people healed through words of knowledge, 237, This included only the ones healed before the invitation, not those healed by the laying on of hands. Then we asked for those who had their condition for 5 years or more, some had it for 10 to 20 years and were healed, that by the time the testimonies were over it was 10:00 p.m. I decided not to preach, instead allowing the small team with me to be joined by the people who had been equipped during the morning sessions where we trained pastors and leaders about how to pray for healing and how to receive words of knowledge. I asked the pastor to give an invitation for the lost to be saved before we released the combined team to prayer for the sick. While the pastor was giving the invitation I was asked by another pastor to go back stage to pray for two very ill leaders of the church. They both had diabetes and both had significant loss of sight. The woman had about 40% of her vision and was having abdominal pain. The man had diabetes for 25 years, had only 20% of his vision in his left eye and was totally blind in his right eye. In addition he had for 3 years been living in severe pain. It hurt to touch his skin in the chest and abdominal area as well as the top of his thighs. Even wearing his clothes was painful. All the pain left which he had lived with constantly for 3 years. He had been in such pain his wife and other leaders of the church had encouraged him to go to the hospital, to leave the service and go to the hospital. He regained about 80% of his sight in his left eye, was beginning to see light and forms with his right eye, and regained his strength in about an hour. When I first met him he was very pale and weak. I had him sit in a chair for prayer, for which he was grateful. He had not been able to climb the stairs to the platform he was so weak. After prayer he went down a long flight of stairs, saying, “Look no hands!” while he refused to hold on to the hand rails. There had been a demonic afflicting spirit connected to the severe headaches that came upon him when I began to pray for his eyes. The power of the afflicting spirit was broken and soon his pain was gone. Tom Jones was so excited when he returned from the meeting he had conducted with his small team in another church of about 1,000. He prayed for a deaf person who was healed, and there were two other deaf persons healed in the meeting. He said it was like the early days of Toronto. The power of God was very strong, there were people being filled with the Holy Spirit and people laughing in the Holy Spirit. There were many healings in the service in addition to these where Tom was ministering. Finally, we heard from a church in Sao Paulo where we didn’t have enough people to send a team. They had a revival like atmosphere break out in their midst. An 8 year old crippled boy from birth who was carried by his uncle received healing and walked for the first time. The fire of God was so strong that there were people rolling on the ground. Many healings, much fire upon the people, and so much noise from the meeting that the neighbors were hanging out the windows trying to see what was happening.
Chris & Pat Buehrig – Psychologist & Teacher/Nurse September 26
A 15 year old girl (Madeline) came to us with her father. Through an interpreter, she said she had a problem at the base of her spine. Her father reports it as a birth defect. The little girl reported that at the base of her spine near her tailbone “the bones not come together there”. We prayed for the spine to come into proper position, the spine become straight, all ligaments in proper alignment, disc in place, etc… After several minutes we found a translator to ask her if she was better – she reported 20% improvement. We did an additional 5-10 minutes of prayer. She then reported 80% improvement with no pain. With that we pressed in for total healing. In a few minutes she was smiling and was saying “All Gone”. Upon saying goodbye, she gave Pat one of those ‘sincere hard to fake’ 30 second hugs; It felt like she didn’t want to let go. Her father was smiling and explaining everything to Madeline’s grandmother as they left. A 27 year old young man reported via interpreter, that his left hand was weaker than his right hand and when he is not thinking, the hand had a tendency to turn inward ‘like a claw’. When questioned he mentioned that he worked on a computer quite frequently, so we concentrated on the wrist, with minimal success (only 20% after 10-15 minutes of prayer). As we were considering bringing the session to an end, he mentioned to the interpreter, that as a child he was always made fun of and teased because of the appearance of the hand. Pat and I immediately asked him if he had forgiven those in his past that had hurt him with their ridicule as a boy/teenager. When he reported that it had not occurred to him to do so, we asked him to forgive all those who had hurt him. We then cut all the curses that had been spoken into him, asking God to bring to his mind anyone else he needed to forgive. He immediately reported the hand felt stronger and while not totally healed we told him to claim the healing that had already taken place and to have the faith that as he continued to clean out his past thru forgiveness, the healing would progressively continue to 100%. We felt that the Lord was asking him to walk out his faith and claim it. The interpreter explained this and the young man got all excited and started saying, “I’m healed”. He was extremely excited.
Marge and Bob Morrison – GSSM Students September 26
A man named Louis asked for prayer for severe headaches and vision that was split vertically. He had been in a motorcycle accident 25 yrs. ago and had these problems ever since. His vision was impaired in that he would see the same thing one on top of another. After praying for him, he reported that his headache was gone and his vision was normal. On Sat. night, 9/30, I saw him at the meeting helping usher and catch people. When I asked him how his eyes were, he shouted to me over the crowd noise, “perfect”! A young man came and asked us to pray for his sinuses, ankle problems and a job. We prayed for each area, and he reported freedom in his sinuses and no pain in his ankles. I felt that the Lord would provide for him a job before a week was over and shared that with him as we blessed him and moved on. Sun. eve., 9/30, he ran up to me with tears of joy in his eyes and gave me a huge hug and bounced me around and around. Not only was he healed, but he had gotten a new job.
Jackie Koller – GSSM Student September 26
I prayed for a woman who had bronchitis and bad headaches for 44 years. She had them since she was 8 months old. After prayer, she was completely healed. Kayla Landis – GSSM Student September 26 A woman had extreme pain in her lower back, shooting down the rest of her body. A nerve moves to the outside of her back and causes extreme pain to sit down. She has not been able to sit for very long in over 10 years. We prayed for her, and then we asked her if she felt any difference. She said she had no pain. We told her to do something she could not do before. She sat down and started crying, because she could sit and have no pain. God completely healed her. A young woman came up for prayer for her throat. When the weather changes, her throat hurts, and then she gets sick. I felt God saying there was something else that He wanted to do. So I asked her if there was any thing else that she needed prayer for. She looked at me, and then said that she had been bitten by a dog and could not move or use her arm over about a 3 – 4 in. She was in a lot of pain all the time. We prayed for her throat, and then asked her if she felt any difference. She said it was a little better. So we prayed some more. Then the pain was all gone out of her throat. We then moved and prayed for her arm. When we stopped, she was crying. We asked her what she was feeling. She said the pain was all gone. We asked her to do something that she could not do before. She started to move her arm and was crying even more. She had full movement of her arm now. She had her life back. She was so excited about what God was doing in her life.
Karen White – GSSM Student September 27
A woman had a stroke a little over a year ago. It affected the movement and nerves in her extremities, primarily on her left side. After praying a very short time, I noticed that she was shaking with fear. I did short deliverance and inner healing prayers. She totally calmed down and appeared to be at peace. Then I focused on speaking to the muscles and the nerves and asked the Lord to bring back to life all the dead cells in the brain that were affected by the stroke and the muscle and nerve atrophy in the body. Her walking improved. The knees that were totally unable to move or bend began to function normally. She bent her knees all the way down to the floor in a position that had her totally balanced. She bowed her head and bent all the way to the ground with her arms in front of her and laid flat on the ground in order to give thanks and glory to the Lord. She had been waiting for just this kind of healing to praise Him. She and all of her family were smiling and crying in joy and she said that she would give her testimony on stage another night.
Kayla Landis – GSSM Student September 27
A woman came up for prayer. She was blind in one eye from birth. We prayed for her, and she started to cry. She can now see out of her eye. She is very excited about what God is doing. Her jaw was messed up. It was shaped very different. We prayed for her, and I could feel her jaw moving back into its correct position under my hands while praying for her. She had surgery on her jaw, and it was not fixed but God is fixing it. I felt the release from God to stop praying for her. God will continue the work that He has started. Her jaw was still moving around when she left. She also wanted more of God and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. God is doing a wonderful work in her life.
Carol and Richard Skroban – Global Volunteers September 27
WOW – the healings came so fast it’s even hard to remember and record – What a blessed time. The very first boy we prayed for was about 10 years old and had injured his knee playing football many months ago. We asked him to sit down, checked his legs which were uneven – the shorter leg grew out, the pain left and he could once again walk freely. A man with long term asthma and much trouble breathing – we prayed to cast out a spirit of asthma and commanded the nasal passages to open. He started to take very deep breaths and was totally healed. A young girl asked for prayer for headaches and a very painful sinus problem. As we commanded these problems and allergies to go she had pains in her thighs. As strange as it sounds, the Lord said these were spirits leaving and to continue praying. We did and every pain and symptom left her body – total healing. A man asked for prayer who was depressed and felt very rejected. We interviewed him and learned that his family had literally cut off any contact with him and he was constantly overlooked for promotions. When asked he said he had forgiven his family and boss. We then prayed over the wounds in his heart caused by being so hurt and he started to smile. He said he felt great and “very light”—all better.” Many more healings too…
Terry Urso – Program Analyst September 27
A woman asked for prayer for what felt like a vice clamped on her head. She had the condition for 12 years. She had little feeling in her face and she felt as though her mind was constantly under attack. I asked her if anything significant had happened in her life approximately 12 years before. She said that several members of her family had died. As we talked, it became apparent that she had sought support from the occult during that time. She had been a Christian for a number of years but had not formally renounced satan and all satanic connections. So she did so. As I prayed commanding the satanic stronghold in her life broken and demolished in the Name of Jesus, she started to feel tingling in her face (feeling was returning) and the vice lifted from her head. The Lord delivered her completely. He then gave her a promise of restoration. As I continued to pray for her, words of a praise song started to play in my head. “Your latter will be greater, your latter will be greater than the rest.” I spoke the Lord’s words to her. Her latter years in the fullness of His grace and His promise will far surpass what they would have been had the attack not occurred. Gloria a Deus!(Praise God!).
Chris Buehrig – Psychologist September 27
The Lord led me to where a rather large woman (250-300#’s) was being delivered of a number of demonic spirits. I had taken up a position on her left side and was holding her arm (in hind sight not one of my better decisions). For the next 15 minutes the pastor of her church and several of us from Global Awakening would receive discernment for specific demonic spirits. As we commanded them to come out in the Name of Jesus this lady would usually expel them by spitting on the floor. No problem I thought, I just had to make sure I didn’t get my shoes spit on. However just before she would cast out a demonic spirit she would try and lift both arms above her head and yell. Remember she was close to 300#’s and here is Chris trying to hold her down…when I looked around the first time for some help, I found to my unpleasant surprise, I was the biggest person ministering to her. However the Lord is good, and after a few wild moments, the demons responded to our command that they come out in order and without all the noise and physical manifestations. She ended up expelling 5 or 6 demons and gave her pastor a big embrace, the pastor saying in broken English “I believe she is now totally free”, all praise to Jesus! A serious looking lady came suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists and a lower back problem. I prayed for the tendons to separate and the inflammation to be gone for both wrists so as to release the pressure on the nerves running thru the small opening into the hands. I prayed for her back to become straight and discs to come into perfect alignment. She soon reported no more pain in either wrist nor any pain in her back. Her serious expression never changed as she reported the good news but her husband seemed real happy, and as a matter of fact came back to me later in the evening offering to interpret for me!
Pat Buehrig – Teacher and Nurse September 27
I walked up to one lady waiting for prayer and began to stretch out my hand and touch her forehead. As I touched the woman, she fell backwards, almost hitting her head on the floor. I am not the largest person, and she almost fell on top of me. I then reached my hand out and another lady went out in the spirit, and another and another. This happened for another 1-2 minutes. It was like the spirit of God was preceding me and the wind of the Holy Spirit touching all. The hard part was having to catch them so they didn’t get hurt. I felt lead to pray for a young girl who was saying thru an interpreter that she had been feeling pain in her sides (where her ovaries are). She explained that she had gone to the doctor, but he could not make a specific diagnosis, but did tell her she could not bear children. As I began praying and breaking the curse the doctor had spoken into her, and was praying for restoration of each ovary tube and any organ involved in the birthing process, I felt movement in the girl’s side. I felt the tightness in the girl’s side change to a softness, at which time the girl suddenly said “ceninto curah! I thought excitedly to myself, cento means 100 and curah means healed in Portuguese, and turning to the interpreter, he confirmed “yes she is saying that she is 100% healed”. After further prayer with the girl, I shared a vision; she was not only healed but would have a boy and a girl! Girl left happy and praising the Lord. All glory to Jesus! A person I saw for healing prayer was a small boy who was deaf and mute!! I wanted to head back to the hotel on the next bus. But I dug my feet in and by the end of our prayers the boy had total restoration of his hearing but still completely mute. As exciting as it was to know the boy was now hearing, it was hard to accept that he still couldn’t talk.

Tonight at the stadium, the requests for healings that people brought to Pat and I, took a hard 180 degree turn in terms of the seriousness of the healing requests. But before I go into that, the praise music before the talks tonight was absolutely the most fantastic I have ever attended. With 3000+ people all jumping up and down waving their arms and singing at the very top of their lungs was absolutely unbelievable. With the beat, and the intensity of the singing and the Holy Spirit just blowing all over the stadium, it was almost more then my senses could handle, I was really close to sensory overload. The leader of the praise /music team is a man by the name of Davi Silva, and is a musician from Argentina. But beside his unbelievable gift for praise music, he was born a mongoloid child. He was completely healed of mongolism (the only documented healing of this serious birth defect on record). And on top of that, the Lord has given him the ability to see into the spirit world where he routinely can watch angels! Back to the healing ministry. The first person brought to us to pray was a 9 year old autistic girl whose mother during the course of our prayer, admitted to our interpreter that she had been heavily into witchcraft and the occult until just recently! What a start!! I was able to make some progress with the mother by cutting some generational curses of the occult before she went out in the spirit unfortunately, I was not able to outwardly do much with the child leaving the rest of her healing in the Lord’s capable hands. We prayed for an elderly woman who had been in an auto accident earlier and since having her casts removed was suffering constant pain in both wrists and unable to grasp with any strength without experiencing pain. As Pat prayed with the woman I held one hand and she the other. As Pat commanded the pain to leave and instructed the woman to keep grasping our hands with progressively more gripping force, the woman suddenly gripped my hand so hard her nails dug into my hand, and she threw hands up in the air with a shout and big smile on her face turned and walked away! Finally as we were getting ready to finish up and head to the refreshment room for some much needed food and drink (it was 1:00am by this time) up comes this interpreter with yet another person, as I was getting ready to say no we are done for the night, I recognize the man as one of the pastors of the ten or so churches that made up this assembly. And just what did this man of God want at 1:00 in the morning as the last person to be prayed for by a team that was very tired and hungry….oh …just to be anointed with ALL the supernatural powers/gifts, and then the interpreter looked at me and said “please, this is the pastor of my church and we all love him so much, please help him”. I’m looking around for Randy Clark thinking ‘hey this is your show; you’re the big international man of healing and impartation; you need to take this one’. But we went ahead anyway did the best we could, Pat shared a word of knowledge with the pastor and we did an impartation of the gifts to him: words of knowledge, wisdom, discernment, etc. and left, almost ran, to the refreshment tent as were starving! I believe the Lord smiled on our effort and the pastor now has a new perspective on guiding his sheep. All glory to Jesus!
John Mazarella – GSSM Student September 27
I prayed for a young lady who had no hearing in her left ear for at least 20 years, ringing and partial hearing in her right ear. I laid hands on her ears and bound any spirits of deafness, prayed for the Lord to heal her and after a few minutes she had complete hearing in her left ear. We prayed for the ringing in her right ear. The ringing ended and she could hear fine in her right. She was amazed and filled with joy!
Phill Olson – GSSM Student September 27
A lady with paralyzed facial muscles, barely able to grin on one side of her mouth and one eye partially shut with a lot of twitching. Prayed for healing, no response. Again, with nothing happening. Asked if there was anyone she needed to forgive. She said that her husband had left her but she still loved him. Asked again if she had forgiven him for leaving her. Didn’t think she needed to since she still loved him. I asked her to look me in the eye, standing in as her husband and forgive me for abandoning her. She did that and then I told any spirit of unforgiveness to leave in Jesus´ Name. At that point we began to see some change as color flowed into her face and her eye opened and slowly but surely a smile began to appear on her face. A little more prayer and her face was almost completely better and her friend behind her began to jump for joy. The interpreter said if he hadn’t seen it, he wasn’t sure he could have believed it could happen so fast.
Marge and Bob Morrison – GSSM Students September 27
A baby less than 1 yr old, born prematurely had severe difficulty digesting and utilizing food ingested with chronic pain. The doctor was unable to diagnose and address the problem. 9/30 – the mother came up to us and reported that there was no more constrictions with food passing through at a normal rate, and no more pain. Since birth, food had taken 4-5 days to pass through his system.
Carol and Richard Skroban – Global Volunteers September 27
This night there was one of the most powerful anointings for healing in the arena than we have ever ministered under with Randy. Manifestations came almost instantly in every instance. Richard: I prayed for an elderly woman who had a tumor in her left breast. She put her hand over it and I lightly touched her hand with my fingers, commanded it to go, and it did. A middle-aged man came who had three tumors in his stomach on the right side. He seemed to be afraid to have them operated on as the doctors wanted to do. I told him that as I prayed he would feel strong heat in that area, which was an indication that God was healing him, and he should go back to the doctors and have them checked again. (My faith was “heaven-high” at this point). I prayed and that is what happened. A young woman came with strong back pain in her lower back. I grew out her legs which were uneven, in Jesus’ Name, and the pain left immediately. I grew out her arms also in Jesus’ Name. There were many more healed – a teen-aged girl with chest congestion, many young men with sinus/breathing problems – before I went to pray with the team over the people who were getting a strong impartation. Carole: I wound up on the “back portico” praying for the sick as Randy was preaching inside. I prayed with about 20 people, and everyone testified of being healed – all symptoms gone. One man wanted prayer for alcohol abuse and leg pains. He did not know the Lord, so I led him in a prayer of salvation, and then prayed for his physical needs, and all the pain left. I prayed for deliverance from alcohol. He then brought his retarded son, and he received the Lord and deliverance – his face literally lit up. I also prayed for the mother who wanted to hear the Lord more clearly. A major highlight of the evening was the translator who worked with me – he sought me out and we ministered together all night. I prayed for a lot of people with uneven legs, commanding them to grow out in Jesus’ Name and all did, healing back pain and leg conditions. I then had my translator pray for people, and he commanded legs and arms to lengthen in Jesus’ Name, and they did every time. He also brought his mother, aunt and sister for prayer, for more of the Holy Spirit’s anointing, and they all got blasted! For us, it was the most powerful meeting of the week. Glory to God!
Terry Urso – Program Analyst September 28
A woman in her 40’s asked for prayer for rheumatoid arthritis. She was in pain despite the medication and previous prayer. I asked her if she could think of anyone who had badly hurt her in the past. Perhaps there was a need for forgiveness. She responded yes, her parents had hurt her but she had forgiven them, and they were both dead. I asked if she had been an abused child. “Yes”, she said. I told her that most often abused children carry an offense against God, who they perceive as unwilling to protect and rescue them. I asked her if she had ever forgiven God. She said no and then forgave Him. I then cast out a spirit of offense that had been blocking her healing. I cast out spirits of arthritis, inflammation, affliction and pain and prayed for healing. The pain went 100%. She was completely healed and gave praises to her loving Lord. Me too! Evening meeting in the indoor stadium in Guarulhos, BrazilA woman in her thirties made her way to the front slowly, haltingly, leaning on her sister for support. She said that she was scheduled for surgery in three weeks on her cerebellum. She had lost her ability to walk on her own for the past ten years. She was dizzy; her sense of balance was gone. After prayer, I asked her to try to walk on her own. She took a few small steps and realized that her balance was good. The dizzy feeling was gone. She continued walking, picking up speed and confidence. As we continued around the perimeter of the large stadium, people who obviously knew her broke out into huge grins of surprise and cheered her on. What an awesome, mighty God we serve! Chris & Pat Buehrig – Psychologist & Teacher/Nurse September 28 What a difference a day makes! Great things happened during healing time this am. Following the teaching done by Tom Jones, Pat and I prayed over a woman who reported severe hearing loss in both ears. The condition had been present for the past five years. We learned via our interpreter that at about the time she had become almost totally deaf, she and her husband separated. She said that she no longer wanted to be with him. After a little more questioning she said that she thought he was seeing another woman. Then she said that she felt that the other woman had put a curse on her because she began to hate her husband. Not only had he left her, but the other woman was involved in the occult (Macumba) and had placed a curse on her. It is so important to get as much information as possible before going into prayer for someone! Finding out she had been attacked by someone in a satanic cult, made all the difference in how Pat and I approached the healing with prayer. Knowing that the occult was involved, Pat and I immediately began breaking the curses spoken over her and asked her to forgive those who had hurt her so badly emotionally, starting with the husband but also the woman who placed the curse on her. After a few minutes, tears began to roll down her cheeks and a big smile came across her face as she reported she could hear again clearly for the first time in over five years! She got up and tearfully gave her testimony to the entire church. The Lord received all the credit. Later a mother approached Pat and I for healing of her 24 year old daughter who had a tumor in her stomach and a large one in her breast which had become very painful. This would be our first attempt at removing tumors. We began with the smaller tumor in the stomach area. We placed the mother’s hand on Pat’s and as we prayed and commanded the tumor to diminish “em no-me de Jeh-zus” (in the name of Jesus), they felt the tumor become smaller and smaller until they could no longer feel its presence, and Pat reported she was seeing the tumor in a vision as having been reduced to the size of a mustard seed. We then shifted our attention to the large tumor in the daughter’s breast. Again I placed the mother’s hand on top of Pat’s (I certainly wasn’t about to put my hand there!!). The tumor was large and hard and was causing the girl obvious pain when touched. At about this time the girl’s father came up and stood beside me to watch. He had apparently held back when the mother and daughter came to the front for prayer, but when he saw the people’s excitement over the healed stomach tumor, he decided he felt he had better see for himself what was going on. As we continued to pray for healing and commanding the tumor to go, the area of the tumor that had been hard and painful to the touch began to soften and the pain left. I’m not quite sure how to delicately describe what happened next, but it was funny and most memorable. As we continued to pray, the girl suddenly said excitably thru our interpreter she felt the tumor was 40% better. We pressed in for more. Then she said it was 80% better. We said that our God is not 80% but 100%. After a short while the young woman said that she no longer felt any pain and could no longer feel the tumor! At this point the mother literally pushed me aside and began, oh how should I describe this…, oh what the heck, she begin squeezing both of her daughter’s breasts not once but a number of times (and these were not small squeezes) till she was satisfied that the tumor was completely gone. The girl then looked down and did the same thing in disbelief. Then both mother and daughter with tears everywhere hugged both Pat and I, at that moment I happened to glance up and I saw the father standing there weeping. What a special moment for the healed and the healers. God is so good! Tonight was somewhat quiet in terms of our efforts at the stadium. It seemed like Pat and I prayed for fewer people than at any other session, although this was our largest stadium crowd and there were 450+ healings during tonight’s meeting. We prayed for a girl and her young daughter. She reported having an asthma condition and trouble seeing because of something she described as a “film” over each eye. We were able to correct her labored breathing without too much prayer (we will not know for sure of a complete healing until she can go several days) but she reported breathing freely for the first time. We were less successful with her vision problem as we never could get a clear understanding of just what the nature of the eye problem was. So when in doubt, we went to the “spare body part store room” in heaven and had her pick out a new pair of eyes and left it in the Lord’s capable hands. We then later prayed for our interpreter’s husband to be healed of a body rash he had been suffering from for the past two years. Our initial assessment turned up no traumatic occurrences that could be tied to the condition and he reported that all the meds he had tried were of no avail. We decided the condition was more than likely due to a spirit rather than to a medical condition. We took authority over the spirit and commanded it to leave in Jesus’ Name. The husband reported he felt his chest getting very hot, then reported no more skin irritation. He said just before coming to the stadium, the rash was unusually bad causing him to be overly “itchy” but now he reported no desire to itch anywhere on his body. He also reported a problem in his lower back causing constant pain. I then asked the Lord to straighten his spine as it was meant to be, commanded all discs to be whole and free of any displacement. Within a few minutes he reported his back was pain free. The last person we prayed for was a young girl with a nasal problem, high blood pressure and a cyst in her lower abdomen. We tackled the nasal problem, asking the Lord to enlarge her nasal passages; we came against any deviated septum, or any obstacle that would hinder her breathing. After a few minutes she smiled reporting she now had 100% clear breathing in both nostrils. We then commanded the cyst to begin shrinking and asked the girl to visualize the growth getting smaller and smaller, a few minutes later tears began rolling down her cheeks as she reported thru the interpreter that for the first time in “many years” she had no pain in her stomach!

A boy called Lukas was brought to us by his mother. I think he was 10 or 12 years old. He had recurring headaches and sinus problems, a pain in his right side below his ribs that the doctors couldn’t explain, pain in his right knee and right heel. Caroline (my interpreter) and I began with his head and as we prayed he said the pain grew worse, so I commanded any afflicting spirit to leave in Jesus’ Name after being sure he was a believer. After a few minutes of praying, he said the pain was gone. I suspected the pain in his side was also spirit related, but began by asking Jesus to heal his pain. That too, became worse, so we commanded spirits to leave and claimed healing in Jesus’ Name. After a couple of repetitions and praising God, the pain left. Then when we prayed for his knee and then his heel, the pain left almost immediately. I explained that we needed to close any doors to the enemy. He had no idea why or how they had access to him so I had him renounce anything that was not of God. I then took him through prayers of forgiveness toward anyone who might have hurt him and asked the Holy Spirit to cleanse and fill him completely. Then his mother wanted prayer, so we began to pray for the pain in her wrist, elbow and shoulder and after a short time she fell. We first thought it was the Holy Spirit, but it became evident that it was demonic as she was very uncomfortable, arching her back, kicking, banging her head back & forth. We got help from two of the pastors who brought it under control and cast it out. As I spoke with her to pray a prayer of renunciation and repentance, she told us that she had been involved in white magic before.

An older woman was sitting in a chair and unable to do more than shuffle her feet with help. I was tired and it was late so I felt myself wondering what could be done for her, but I told her about the healing I had in my knees and prayed for her pain to go away, by commanding the pain to leave in Jesus´ Name. I asked her to bend her right knee. She said her knee wasn’t hurting and I asked her to try the other. The pain was gone, so in faith I offered her my hands and told her to stand up and walk. As she began taking steps on her own she looked down in disbelief at what was happening and started to weep. She was walking comfortably on her own for the first time in a long time. I believe it was years. Man with 85% hearing loss in left ear and 50% loss in the right. I prayed for the healing of the Spirit to come and he noticed some improvement in the right ear but no change in the left. Second try produced similar results. I stopped to ask the Spirit what was going on. I heard the word “curse” in my mind so I asked if he knew anyone who might have had reason to curse his life. He informed us that his next door neighbor had cursed him and a string of problems had resulted. I then heard, “love your enemy.” So I asked him if he could forgive her for doing this and suggested the forgiveness by proxy method (I asked him to look me in the eye, standing in as his neighbor and forgive me for cursing him). He said that would be the only way it could happen since his neighbor was dead. He looked me in the eyes and pronounced forgiveness for each the problems that had arisen. I again commanded any spirit of unforgiveness to leave in the Name of Jesus and his ear instantly opened. We prayed for the fullness of the Spirit to fill him and informed him of his authority to tell the demons to leave him alone should they try to lie their way back into influencing his life.
